Made at King Stone Dairy, Ashcombe is a British homage to the French classic Morbier. Ashcombe's unique appearance comes from the layer of wood ash running horizontally through the middle of the cheese. The rind is meaty and savoury, while the paste has aromas of warm milk and hay. The flavours are comforting and rich, with a tone of melted butter and fresh hazlenuts
