Prices
Prices will be charged at the prices ruling
on the day of despatch. Whilst every effort is made to maintain
accurate prices on our site the nature the cheese business, the
effect of currency fluctuations and fuel costs mean that prices
do change. 'The Teddington Cheese' reserves the right to alter the
prices and the customer has the right to cancel their order should
the price change not be acceptable. From 1st November 2004 all orders
under £30 will have an additional £1.50 handling surcharge
added (due to the increased costs of packaging).
Product substitution
As some cheeses are seasonal, made on a very small
scale and ripen at different rates, 'The Teddington Cheese' will
substitute products that are unavailable with the closest equivalent
product. If you do not wish a substitute to be made then you must
let us know.
Defective goods
The buyer must notify the 'The Teddington Cheese'
of any defective or out of condition goods within 24 hours of
receipt. All such goods must be returned to us or made available for
inspection.
Next Day Delivery
The buyer or recipient must be at the delivery
address between 8am and 6pm on the day of delivery or indicate a
place to leave the goods. 'The Teddington Cheese' accepts no
responsibility for goods left in an agreed place and not signed for.
The buyer must notify 'The Teddington Cheese' if the goods have not
arrived by 4pm on the day of delivery.
Whilst every effort is made to deliver the
goods on the day agreed, 'The Teddington Cheese' reserves the right
to deliver the goods on the following working day in the event of
circumstances beyond the control of 'The Teddington Cheese' (for
example: floods, snow, civil actions, delivery vehicle breakdown
etc.). For essential orders allow two working days for delivery and
please do give us as much notice as possible.
These Terms and
Conditions do not
affect your statutory rights as a
consumer.
